Senior Backend Developer (PHP)

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will play a pivotal role in driving our company’s growth and success by leveraging your technical proficiency and leadership to deliver robust and scalable backend solutions.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications and APIs using PHP and related technologies. At iAffiliate, we specialise in SEO affiliate marketing, partnering with world’s largest casinos and sports betting websites. Collaboration is at the heart of our work, as you’ll closely collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality successful outcomes.

You will be a perfect fit if you have:

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Backend Developer, with a strong focus on PHP.
• Extensive experience in developing backend applications and APIs using PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
• Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, and software architecture.
• Proficiency in database systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL, including database design, optimization, and querying.
• Solid knowledge of RESTful API design principles and experience in building and consuming APIs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a production environment.
• Experience in Affiliate Marketing or/and casino games is considered an advantagе
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities in your new role include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications and APIs using PHP and related technologies.
• Collaborating closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Leading the architecture and implementation of complex backend systems, ensuring adherence to best practices, scalability, and security.
• Optimizing performance and reliability of existing backend systems, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing necessary enhancements.
• Conducting thorough testing, debugging, and documentation of backend code to ensure quality and maintainability.
